Rainbow Muffins

Yesterday when asking for suggestions for new things to do my friend suggested making rainbow muffins. I thought it was a weird but awesome idea! So we decided to make them today. The first batch was from a box and we just put food colouring in them. They turned out pretty ugly colours and they looked hideous but they tasted really good. The next batch we made peanut butter muffins from scratch. It was much more fun to make. The colours on them turned much prettier vibrant colours. But when we cooked them they were un-muffin like and they tasted really bland. We ended up putting chocolate icing and hoped no one would  notice. When people first was them we got mixed reactions. Some were grossed out and some were laughing. Everyone said they were good though I don't believe all of them!
